Tegan and Sara have taken action to shut down their Warner Music merchandise store due to significant order fulfillment issues that are impacting multiple Warner artists.

The duo announced via social media that a "huge backlog" at Warner's warehouse has caused unacceptable delays in shipping pre-orders and merchandise. The issue affects various items, including their upcoming album "Hey, I'm Just Like You," along with branded clothing and limited-edition cassette tapes.

Customers awaiting orders can request full refunds by emailing [email protected] with their order number.

In response to these challenges, Tegan and Sara plan to launch their own merchandise store to maintain better quality control. They emphasized their commitment to providing quality products at fair prices, with unique designs created by their art director Emy.

Warner Music has acknowledged the situation, stating they are "taking these customer service issues very seriously" and working with their fulfillment provider Direct Shot and other vendors to resolve the problems.

The new album "Hey, I'm Just Like You" will feature reimagined versions of demos the sisters originally recorded as teenagers. Future merchandise operations will be handled independently to prevent similar fulfillment issues.
