Kenny Chesney Announces Historic 12-Show Residency at Las Vegas Sphere, First Country Artist to Perform at Venue
Kenny Chesney will make history as the first country artist to perform at Las Vegas' Sphere, announcing a 12-show residency beginning Memorial Day weekend in May 2025.
The announcement follows social media teasers featuring a beach scene with waves washing up to a blue chair, guitar, and cowboy hat—iconic symbols associated with the country star.
"When we started talking about all of the possibilities playing Sphere offered, I was all in," Chesney told People. The venue's 4D technology and advanced sound system will create an immersive experience for fans, known collectively as No Shoes Nation.

Chesney joins an elite group of performers who have played the 18,600-seat venue, including U2, Dead & Company, Phish, and the Eagles. The country star was particularly inspired after watching U2's residency performance film, citing being "completely consumed" by the venue's technological capabilities.
Residency Dates 2025:
- May: 22, 24, 25, 28, 30, 31
- June: 4, 6, 7, 11, 13, 14
Tickets go on sale Friday, January 31, at 10 AM PT through Chesney's website, with VIP packages available for early access.
