London's iconic Ronnie Scott's Jazz Club will host its Musical Instrument Amnesty on January 25, 2025, from 10 am to 3 pm at their Frith Street location in Soho. The event aims to collect and redistribute unused musical instruments to children and young people in need.

Donors can drop off instruments during the event hours, where each donation will receive a unique tracking number, allowing contributors to follow their instrument's journey to its final destination, whether in the UK or internationally.

The initiative, running since 2015, has successfully distributed over 3,000 instruments to aspiring musicians. Initially an annual event, it now operates bi-annually following a brief pause during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ada Ologbosere, Head of the Ronnie Scott's Foundation, emphasizes the program's significance: "We are delighted to bring this initiative back for another year, revitalizing instruments and providing young people in underserved communities the opportunity to develop their skills and realize their potential."
