• Creators earn "rubies" valued at one cent each
• No fixed revenue share as jewel costs may vary with promotions
• 50% bonus earnings (up to $1,000/month) for eligible creators during first 3 months

Important Limitations:

• Gifts only work on vertical livestreams
• Viewers can only send gifts through YouTube mobile app
• Creators enabling gifts cannot receive Super Stickers
• Only available through YouTube directly or third-party streaming software

This feature follows the success of similar virtual gifting systems on platforms like TikTok and Twitch, where digital gifts have proven highly engaging but sometimes controversial, with reports of excessive spending by viewers.
