MSG Soulshine Benefit Concert Raises $4.5M for Hurricane Victims in North Carolina and Florida

The sold-out Soulshine benefit concert at Madison Square Garden raised $4.5 million for hurricane relief efforts in North Carolina and Florida through ticket sales, merchandise, sponsorships, and donations.

The November 24 concert featured an all-star lineup including Dave Matthews Band, Warren Haynes Band, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, and Goose. Special guests included Trey Anastasio, Mavis Staples, Robert Randolph, Joe Russo, Trombone Shorty, Susan Tedeschi, Derek Trucks, and Ben Jaffe.

The event marked the finale of Dave Matthews Band's Fall Tour, following three consecutive sold-out MSG shows. Highlights included:

  • Dave Matthews and Warren Haynes opening with "Soulshine"
  • Dave Matthews joining Goose for Bruce Hornsby's "The Way It Is"
  • Mavis Staples performing with Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats
  • Trombone Shorty and Robert Randolph joining Warren Haynes Band
  • Dave Matthews and Trey Anastasio performing Phish's "Waste"
  • A group performance of "The Weight" featuring Anastasio, Rateliff, and Tedeschi
  • All performers uniting for The Beatles' "Come Together" finale

Live Nation and Day Glo Presents produced the event, while Volta Media handled the livestream, sponsored by Cisco. All proceeds from the Soulshine Concert Fund will support various organizations providing hurricane relief in North Carolina and Florida.
