Kid Rock recently met with Trump's Attorney General pick Pam Bondi to address major issues plaguing the live concert industry, specifically targeting ticket scalping and unfair pricing practices.

During their meeting, Kid Rock expressed his commitment to tackle multiple industry problems, including:

• Automated ticket-buying bots
• Scalpers and resellers
• Venue pricing practices
• Ticketing companies' policies
• Management and artist pricing decisions

This meeting comes amid growing consumer frustration with concert ticket prices, particularly highlighted by recent events like Taylor Swift's Eras Tour and the upcoming Oasis reunion shows. Reports indicate that ticket-buying bots can be purchased for as little as $50, allowing scalpers to bypass regular queue systems and snap up tickets before actual fans.

The U.S. Department of Justice has already launched an antitrust investigation into Live Nation and Ticketmaster's potential monopoly of the live entertainment ticketing industry. This investigation could gain additional momentum under Bondi's potential leadership.

Kid Rock shared on Instagram: "I look forward to working with her and the whole administration to help fix the fiasco of buying concert tickets." He emphasized that industry stakeholders should either participate in fixing these issues or "f*ck around and find out."

The incoming administration's antitrust efforts may be further strengthened by Gail Slater, Trump's pick for Assistant Attorney General and head of the DoJ's antitrust division. Slater's appointment has received support from anti-monopoly advocates, suggesting the Live Nation/Ticketmaster case could become a priority for the new administration.
