Instagram has launched a new integration with Spotify that allows users to instantly add songs from Instagram Reels to their Spotify library with a single tap.

Here's how the new feature works:

1. While watching Instagram Reels, tap on the song information
2. Look for the new Spotify button next to the song preview player
3. Tap the button to instantly add the song to your Spotify library
4. The song will appear in your 'Liked Songs' playlist and 'Your Library' tab

Requirements:

• Latest versions of both Instagram and Spotify apps
• Spotify account linked to Instagram
• Available on both iOS and Android devices

This integration follows similar functionality already available on TikTok, which allows users to add songs to various music streaming platforms. Currently, Instagram's feature is exclusive to Spotify, though expansion to other music services may follow.

Spotify states this integration aims to strengthen artist-fan connections and make music discovery more seamless across social media platforms.
