The deal represents a homecoming for Slipstream founders Dan Demole and Jesse Korwin, who previously led Jingle Punks before founding Slipstream in 2021. The acquisition was made possible through financing from Pollen Street Capital, with Moelis & Company acting as financial advisor.

Key aspects of the acquisition:

  • Includes US-based Jingle Punks and 5 Alarm Music
  • Adds UK-based Cavendish Music, the country's oldest independent production music publisher
  • Expands services across TV, film, advertising, gaming, social media, and brands
  • Provides creator-safe music for both digital content makers and traditional media clients

"With this vast catalog and our tech-enabled platform, we're not only the largest independent player in the space, but also the most innovative," says Dan Demole, CEO of Slipstream.

As part of the transaction, Anthem Entertainment will maintain an investment stake in Slipstream, supporting the company's vision to revolutionize music licensing through technology and creativity.
