The lawsuit details multiple serious allegations against Combs, including:
- Sexual abuse and terrorization of Richard
- Withholding earnings and stealing copyrighted works
- Subjecting Richard and bandmates to inhumane working conditions
- Threatening Richard's life when she tried to help Cassie Ventura
- Depriving Danity Kane members of basic needs like food and sleep
Richard claims she witnessed Combs physically abusing Cassie Ventura, including choking, strangling, and striking her with objects. She also recounts seeing Kim Porter, another of Combs' former girlfriends, leaving a studio with visible injuries in 2005.
The lawsuit states Richard became fearful of Combs after observing his "intimidating, predatory manner" during his first meeting with Cassie Ventura in 2006, which was notably the first time she had been around him without cameras present.
When Richard and other Danity Kane members requested basic necessities during MTV's Making the Band 3 and 4, Combs allegedly responded with derogatory comments such as "you bitches don't want this" and "I'm paying you bitches to work."
Combs and his legal team have not yet responded to requests for comment regarding these allegations.
