The charged individuals and their alleged offenses include:

Manslaughter Charges (1-5 years if convicted):

  • Gilda Martin (Hotel Manager): Failed to prevent Payne from being taken to his dangerous hotel room
  • Esteban Grassi (Receptionist): Instructed others to drag Payne to his room instead of seeking medical help
  • Roger Nores (Payne's Friend): Failed to provide necessary care and assistance despite knowing about Payne's addictions

Drug Supply Charges (4-15 years if convicted):

  • Ezequiel Pereyra: Allegedly sold 'pink cocaine' to Payne on October 15 & 16
  • Braian Paiz: Allegedly sold cocaine to Payne twice on October 14

Judge Laura Bruniard stated that while those charged with manslaughter didn't intend Payne's death, their actions contributed to the risk. The two drug suppliers have been taken into custody.

The substance known as 'pink cocaine' or 'tusi' in Argentina can contain various drugs, including ketamine, MDMA, methamphetamine, cocaine, fentanyl, and xylazine.
