Diddy Faces New Sexual Assault Lawsuit Over 2016 Los Angeles Club Incident
Sean "Diddy" Combs faces new sexual assault allegations from a 2016 incident at Los Angeles' Club Playhouse. The unnamed plaintiff claims Combs forcefully made her drink alcohol and sexually assaulted her at the venue.

The lawsuit, filed in New York State Supreme Court, alleges that when the woman refused a drink, Combs aggressively insisted, saying "B, I'm not asking you. Drink that s* and shut the f* up." The plaintiff states Combs then forcibly assaulted her while saying "B, I do what I want, take that s*."
Combs' legal team categorically denies all allegations, stating that "Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone." They maintain these claims are unfounded and express confidence in prevailing at trial.

This case adds to Combs' mounting legal challenges, including federal criminal charges for sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. He remains in custody at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center after three denied bail requests, with his trial scheduled for May 2025.

The allegations have significantly impacted Combs' business empire, with numerous brands and partners distancing themselves from the hip-hop mogul. This case represents part of a broader accountability movement in the entertainment industry regarding abuse allegations against powerful figures.
