DJ Diesel Drops into Fortnite: Shaq Brings Double Outfits on October 4
Shaquille O'Neal joins Fortnite on October 4 at 8 PM ET, bringing two distinct outfits and various in-game cosmetics to the popular battle royale game.
The first outfit features DJ Diesel, Shaq's musical persona, with a reactive design that illuminates based on player eliminations. This outfit includes an all-black Festival Headliner Variant. The second outfit, Super Shaq, offers players seven different color options.
Players can also acquire two special emotes:
- One N' Twos
- Shaq Shimmy
"I conquered the court, rocked stadiums, and now it's time to dominate Fortnite!" says Shaq, emphasizing his expansion into gaming as his latest venture combining entertainment and community engagement.
Beyond basketball, Shaq has established himself as a multifaceted entertainer and businessman. As DJ Diesel, he runs global music events including Shaq's Bass All-Stars Festival and Shaq's Fun House, which combine music performances with carnival experiences.
His commitment to giving back is demonstrated through The Shaquille O'Neal Foundation, supporting underserved youth through initiatives like Shaq-to-School and Shaq-a-Claus.
