Sean "Diddy" Combs' legal team has filed a motion to strike evidence obtained during federal raids on his properties, claiming the search warrants were "unconstitutionally broad" and based on racist motivations.

The motion argues that federal authorities overstepped by seeking "virtually limitless authority" to seize evidence, including all digital devices, iCloud accounts, and various records from his properties. His attorneys contend that prosecutors treated Combs' entire life as a criminal enterprise, leading to excessive seizures far beyond what was necessary for the investigation.

The legal team's heavily redacted memo points to "frequent and patterned" misrepresentations and misleading omissions in the warrants. They've also accused prosecutors of using racist laws to "police non-conforming sexual activity."

Combs faces serious federal charges including sex trafficking and racketeering, with his trial scheduled to begin in May. He has pleaded not guilty to all charges and remains held without bail at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center since his September arrest. If convicted, he could face life imprisonment.

The case is being handled by attorneys Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos, following lawyer Anthony Ricco's recent departure from the defense team. Beyond the federal case, Combs also faces numerous civil lawsuits alleging assault and other crimes.
