Sean "Diddy" Combs has filed a $100 million+ defamation lawsuit against NBCUniversal, Peacock, and Ample Entertainment over their documentary "Diddy: The Making of a Bad Boy."

The lawsuit targets the documentary, which premiered on January 14th, for allegedly making false and damaging claims about Combs. According to the legal filing, the documentary falsely accuses Diddy of multiple murders, including those of:

  • Kimberly Porter (his former partner)
  • The Notorious B.I.G.
  • Andre Harrell (Uptown Records founder)
  • Heavy D

The suit states that these individuals died of natural causes, with the exception of Biggie Smalls, and calls the accusations "deeply distressing, offensive, reckless, and malicious."

Additionally, the lawsuit challenges claims made in the documentary regarding:

  • An alleged attempted murder of Al B. Sure!
  • The existence of "Diddy tapes"
  • Accusations of sex trafficking underage girls

This legal action follows another ongoing $50 million defamation suit against Courtney Burgess and attorney Ariel Mitchell for similar allegations.

Diddy's legal team argues that beyond the reputational damage, these allegations could potentially compromise his right to a fair trial in his upcoming May criminal case. They assert that NBCUniversal and other defendants are "maliciously perpetuating" false rumors through the documentary's content.
