The platform addresses a critical gap in music education, as millions of US students lack access to music programs, while existing ones often struggle with outdated curricula and budget constraints.

Key Features of Conduction:

  • Enables students to create and produce digital songs
  • Weekly classroom voting on favorite song creations
  • Local musicians create music videos of selected songs
  • Teaches beat making, composition, songwriting, and sheet music
  • Aligns with national education standards
  • Cost-effective compared to traditional programs

The platform focuses on contemporary music interests, helping students explore careers as producers, DJs, songwriters, and beatmakers while meeting educational standards. According to CEO Joe Maggiore, this approach makes music education more relevant and engaging for today's students.

Conduction currently partners with dozens of schools and districts, with over 100 schools ready to implement the platform. The new funding will be used to:

  • Advance proprietary music software modules
  • Increase corporate partnerships
  • Expand operations across Pennsylvania and the United States
  • Support collaboration with community musicians

Corporate sponsors can participate by subsidizing music education costs for individual schools, making the program more accessible to underserved communities.
