Boiler Room, previously owned by ticketing platform DICE since 2021, has been sold to Superstruct for an undisclosed amount. DICE will continue providing ticketing services for Boiler Room events. The 15-year-old company boasts an impressive archive of over 8,000 performances from more than 5,000 artists across 200 cities, with their YouTube content accumulating 1.56 billion views.

This transaction follows several major developments in the European live entertainment sector throughout 2024:

  • CVC acquired a minority stake in Superstruct while KKR maintained majority ownership
  • Providence's ATG purchased Madrid's SOM Produce
  • CTS Eventim acquired See Tickets from Vivendi
  • CTS Eventim became the majority owner of French ticketing company France Billet

Boiler Room will continue under the leadership of founder and CEO Blaise Bellville, with Superstruct CEO Roderik Schlosser highlighting the company's "distinct cultural approach" as a key asset.

These developments reflect the ongoing consolidation and evolution within the European live entertainment industry, with major players continuing to strengthen their market positions through strategic acquisitions and partnerships.
