ADA, Warner Music Group's independent music distribution arm, has extended its partnership with Sonny Fodera's label Solotoko. Founded in Ibiza in 2017 and now based in London, Solotoko has released music from renowned artists including Dom Dolla, John Summit, James Hype, and Vintage Culture.
The partnership extension follows Fodera's "Somedays" becoming the only independent release nominated for Song of the Year at the 2025 BRIT Awards. The track reached No. 5 in the UK Top Ten, staying there for eight weeks, and achieved Gold certification in Australia and the UK, plus Double Platinum in Ireland.
Fodera's recent achievements include:
- Selling out London's Alexandra Palace
- Two sold-out Warehouse Projects
- Two sold-out nights at Dublin's 3 Arena
- Completing third residency at Ibiza's Amnesia
- Generating over two billion global streams across his catalog
The five-year partnership between ADA and Palm Projects (Fodera's label team) has significantly contributed to the artist's global success. According to Howard Corner (MD of ADA UK) and Greg Burnell (Fodera's manager), this extended partnership aims to further expand Sonny and Solotoko's global presence in 2025, building on their existing success in dance music, particularly in the UK market.
The collaboration has already proven successful, transforming from an initial lockdown deal to producing the best-selling British independent act with BRIT Award recognition, setting the stage for continued growth in the global dance music scene.
