
15 Finalists Selected for Dolly Parton Musical Lead Role After Nationwide Search
Fifteen talented performers have been selected as finalists to potentially portray Dolly Parton in the upcoming "Dolly: An Original Musical," premiering this summer in Nashville.

The finalists, chosen from thousands of applicants, will attend in-person auditions in New York City:

- Solo Lowit (Milton, Georgia)
- Kindred Moore (New York City)
- Norah Nunes (Houston, Texas)
- Kelly O'Brien (Aldbury, Tring, UK)
- Tricia Paoluccio (California)
- Cecilia Petrush (New York City)
- Madeline Powell (New York City)
The musical will run for four weeks at Nashville's Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, with previews starting July 18 and opening night on August 8. The final performance is scheduled for August 17, before the show moves to Broadway in 2026.
Dolly Parton has written new original songs for the production while incorporating her classic hits. Tony-winner Bartlett Sher will direct the musical, which is produced by Parton, Danny Nozell, ATG Productions, and Gavin Kalin Productions.
Tickets start at $40 and are currently on sale. Additional casting details and creative team members will be announced in the coming weeks.
