The combined entity will preserve separate product development and marketing strategies. Weeztix continues focusing on open API ticketing technology, while event organizers gain access to Weezevent's comprehensive solutions, including accreditation, cashless services, and access control systems.

Joost Aane, CEO of Weeztix, emphasizes that existing customers will experience no changes, with the team, product, and dedication remaining constant. Pierre-Henri Deballon, Weezevent's CEO, highlights that the merger creates powerful synergies to enhance offerings across Europe.

Earlier this year, Eventix (now Weeztix) partnered with Spotify, enabling live music organizers to list events directly on the platform. This integration allows fans to purchase tickets through Weeztix-powered ticket shops directly from Spotify.

The European smart ticketing market shows promising growth:

  • Current revenue (2024): $4.57B
  • Projected revenue by 2030: $10.45B+
  • Expected growth rate: 14.9% (2025-2030)
  • France leads with the highest projected CAGR in this period
