
Warner Records Partners with Tim Hinshaw to Launch Free Lunch Label, Signs Syd and Alex Isley
Warner Records has partnered with Tim Hinshaw's Free Lunch Agency to launch Free Lunch Records, marking a significant expansion in the music industry's hip-hop and R&B landscape.

The new label builds upon Free Lunch's existing partnerships, including its 2024 collaboration with AEG Presents for hip-hop, R&B, and gospel tours. Warner Records A&R SVP Ericka Coulter will maintain her current role while also serving as Free Lunch Records' General Manager.
Free Lunch Records has already secured its first two significant signings:
- Syd (Sydney Bennett), previously with Columbia Records
- Alex Isley, daughter of the Isley Brothers' Ernie Isley, known for her 2023 release "I Left My Heart in Ladera"
Aaron Bay-Schuck, Warner Records co-chair and CEO, emphasized the strategic alignment between the companies: "Tim's expertise stretches far beyond finding and nurturing talent – he knows how to make sure his artists are making an impact across music, sports, fashion, and live entertainment."
