Bria's platform focuses on image generation, offering text-to-image models, brand-specific generative products, editing tools, and AI-powered marketing solutions. What sets Bria apart is its "Multi-Modal Attribution Engine," which tracks training materials in its outputs and ensures compensation for content creators.

The company currently partners with 30 data providers, including Getty Images and Freepix, maintaining a commitment to using only licensed data. This approach contrasts sharply with other AI companies, particularly in the music industry, where training compensation often remains unaddressed.

Bria plans to expand its patented attribution model to include music, video, and text generation. Founder Yair Adato emphasizes that this expansion will help create a sustainable creative economy by facilitating responsible access to IP content.

This development follows recent AI licensing initiatives in the music industry:

  • Sony Music's leadership in Vermillio's $16 million Series A
  • Musical AI's $1.5 million pre-seed round
  • Universal Music's partnership with ProRata for per-use revenue sharing
