
Universal Music Group Partners with Music Health Alliance to Launch Mental Health Support Fund for Music Industry
Universal Music Group (UMG) and Music Health Alliance (MHA) have partnered to launch the Music Industry Mental Health Fund, providing comprehensive mental health resources for music industry professionals nationwide.

The initiative expands upon their existing four-year relationship, which has already helped nearly 1,000 artists access healthcare. The new fund offers:
- Personalized recommendations for mental health counselors and psychiatrists
- Financial grants to offset treatment costs
- Funding resource recommendations for continuous care
- 24-hour response time for initial inquiries
- Access to MHA's team of advocates
Services are available to both current and former music professionals, extending beyond UMG's immediate network.
"We have been working on ways to establish a streamlined pathway for mental health access, funding, and care planning," explains UMG's Chief Impact Officer, Susan Mazo.
MHA's comprehensive services include:
- Dental care through the Richard M. Bates SMILE Fund
- Group health services
- Healthcare advocacy and guidance
- Individual and family health insurance
- Senior care support including Medicare
- Vision care resources
