Ticketmaster has donated £60,000 ($75K USD) to Music Venue Trust (MVT), a UK charity representing hundreds of grassroots music venues. This contribution stems from Ticketmaster's fan donation program, where customers can support grassroots venues during ticket purchases.

The donation system works through a matching program where Ticketmaster doubles every pound contributed by fans. Over the past two years, this initiative has generated more than £150,000 ($187K USD) for grassroots music venues.

All funds are directed to MVT's Pipeline Investment Fund, established in 2022 to support UK music venues, artists, and promoters. The fund has successfully raised and allocated over £5 million ($6.25M USD), with more than £500,000 ($625K USD) specifically invested in grassroots music venue infrastructure.

Andrew Parsons, Managing Director of Ticketmaster UK, highlighted partnerships with iconic venues including Epic Studios, Hackney Church, Alfies, The Piano Bar, Soul Mama, and Y Plas nightclub as part of their ongoing commitment to supporting grassroots music venues.

Mark Davyd, CEO of Music Venue Trust, expressed gratitude for the support, emphasizing how crucial these donations are for venues struggling to maintain operations. The initiative demonstrates Ticketmaster's recognition of the challenges faced by grassroots music venues and their active role in addressing these issues.
