The artist, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, has postponed his sixth studio album "Hurry Up Tomorrow" to January 31, one week later than originally planned. The album holds special significance as it will be his final project under The Weeknd persona, though Tesfaye confirms he isn't leaving music entirely.

"This city has always been a profound source of inspiration for me, and my thoughts are with everyone impacted during this difficult time," Tesfaye stated, emphasizing his commitment to supporting the affected communities.

The wildfires have claimed over 20 lives and led to numerous entertainment event cancellations throughout Los Angeles county. While related Grammy Awards events like the afterparty have been postponed, the main ceremony will proceed as planned on February 2.
