Taylor Swift Dominates MTV EMAs with Four Major Wins, Busta Rhymes Honored
The 2024 MTV European Music Awards saw Taylor Swift dominate with four major wins, including Best Artist, Best US Act, Best Live Act, and Best Video for "Fortnight" featuring Post Malone.

Notable winners included Sabrina Carpenter (Best Song for "Espresso"), Ariana Grande (Best Pop Act), Eminem (Best Hip-Hop Act), and Shawn Mendes (Best Canadian Act).
Rita Ora hosted the ceremony for a third time, delivering an emotional tribute to the late Liam Payne. The event featured two special honors: Busta Rhymes received the EMA Global Icon Award, marking his first MTV recognition in his 34-year career, while Pet Shop Boys were presented with the inaugural Pop Pioneers Award.
The show concluded with memorable performances by Pet Shop Boys accompanied by the Manchester Camerata orchestra, performing "All the Young Dudes" and their classic "West End Girls." Other performers included Shawn Mendes, Le Sserafim, Peso Pluma, Raye, Teddy Swims, and The Warning.
