Shopify has removed Yeezy.com from its platform after the site attempted to sell t-shirts featuring Nazi imagery. The ecommerce platform confirmed the removal, stating that the merchant violated their terms of service and failed to engage in authentic commerce practices.

The controversial merchandise included a shirt displaying a black 45-degree tilted swastika, labeled as 'HH-01' - an apparent reference to 'Heil Hitler.' This follows Kanye West's recent inflammatory social media posts, including statements praising Hitler and claiming Nazi affiliation.

The website removal comes after West posted several controversial statements on X/Twitter, including antisemitic remarks and offensive declarations. Before potential platform action, West deactivated his account, but not before thanking platform owner Elon Musk for providing him a platform.

The Anti-Defamation League condemned West's actions, noting that his previous antisemitic statements in 2022 were linked to 30 antisemitic incidents nationwide. Multiple public figures, including actor David Schwimmer, have called for permanent platform restrictions on West's social media presence.

Shopify's terms of service explicitly state their right to restrict products or activities deemed unsafe, inappropriate, or offensive. The platform's swift action demonstrates their commitment to preventing the spread of hate symbols and discriminatory content through their service.
