A previously unreleased Tina Turner song, "Hot For You Baby," is set to debut as part of the 40th anniversary edition of her landmark album Private Dancer. The track, written by John Paul Young and produced by John Carter, was originally intended for the 1984 album but didn't make the final cut.

The song features Turner's signature rock sound, complete with a guitar solo, organ, and prominent drums. It will be included alongside other unreleased material in the anniversary edition, scheduled for release on March 21, 2025.
Private Dancer was a pivotal album in Turner's career, selling 10 million copies and earning three Grammy awards. Its hit single "What's Love Got to Do With It" reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the album peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200.
The release comes nearly two years after Turner's passing at age 83 on May 24, 2023. Her legacy includes not only her musical achievements but also her role as an inspiration to abuse survivors, having overcome her well-documented experiences with former husband Ike Turner to build a successful solo career.
Following her death, a 55-track greatest hits compilation was released celebrating her 50-year solo career, featuring her renowned cover of Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" among other classics.
