The story follows an overprotective father (Wilson) who secretly brings his 13-year-old son into the festival, leading to a series of misadventures alongside his co-worker (Rife) and an eccentric festival volunteer. Jeremy Garelick is both writing and directing the film.
The production team includes:
- Producers: Jeremy Garelick and Will Phelps (American High), Stella Bulochnikov (Pat Solitano Productions), Jolene, and Doug Banker
- Executive Producers: Ryan Kroft, Pasquale Rotella, Matt Zingler, Tariq Cherif, Matt Rife, and Christina Shams
Wilson recently made a cameo during Travis Scott's Rolling Loud performance for a scene in the film. He's also wrapping up "Loki" Season 2 on Disney+ and is set to star in an upcoming Apple series about a professional golfer.
Matt Rife continues his successful "Stay Golden Tour," playing to sold-out arenas including Madison Square Garden. His memoir "Your Mom's Gonna Love Me" is currently a New York Times bestseller.
The film, handled by UTA Independent Film Group for worldwide distribution, is scheduled for release next year.
