This historic collaboration aims to create shared content, expand audience reach, and develop new revenue streams across the tri-state area. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting has provided funding to develop a comprehensive five-year business model, which will serve as a template for similar collaborations nationwide.

Public Media Company will guide the collaborative's strategic direction, while Paragon will perform digital audits and membership analysis for each station. The initiative will develop customized digital strategies aligned with each station's specific goals and objectives.

WBGO President & CEO Steven A. Williams emphasizes the unique opportunity to leverage their combined influence as leading broadcasters in America's largest media market. The collaboration has been in informal discussion for over a decade, and now with CPB's support, it's finally becoming a reality.

The partnership represents a significant step forward in public radio broadcasting, with WQXR's commitment to making classical music more accessible and WBGO's leadership in spearheading this collective effort. This innovative approach aims to strengthen connections between stations while enhancing service to their respective communities throughout the tri-state region.
