WINHUB, launched in 2022, has already connected over 1,100 music professionals through events in major music hubs including New York, Guadalajara, Valdivia, and Sofia. The platform has facilitated online meetings with trade association members from 43 territories across five continents.
The new initiative will focus on:
- Cross-border networking events between Europe and global markets
- WINHUB Iberoamerica online event on April 24, connecting professionals from Portugal and Spain with counterparts in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, and Paraguay
- An autumn event focusing on Eastern European market integration
"With Impala and EU support, we're building an interconnected global network that empowers independent music businesses across borders," says WIN Community & Projects Manager Nerea Serrano.
Karla Rogožar, Impala Network Development Manager, adds that WINHUB will become integral to their global collaboration activities as a recognized EU cultural network, helping strengthen sector diversity and competitiveness.
