A woman has filed a lawsuit against Sean "Diddy" Combs, alleging he and his former bodyguard drugged and raped her at a New York City recording studio in 2001. The lawsuit was filed in federal court on Tuesday by Thalia Graves.

According to the lawsuit, Graves met Combs around 1999-2000 through her then-boyfriend, an executive at Bad Boy Records. In summer 2001, Combs allegedly invited the then-25-year-old Graves to discuss her boyfriend's "performance issues." After being picked up in an SUV, Graves claims she was given wine that made her feel dizzy and weak.

The lawsuit states that Graves lost consciousness at the studio and awoke naked with her hands tied behind her back. She alleges both Combs and his former bodyguard, Joseph "Big Joe" Sherman, sexually assaulted her while she was incapacitated. The suit claims the assault was recorded on video.

Graves says she fled to a hospital afterward but was too terrified to report the incident, fearing retaliation. She learned about the video recording in November when her ex-boyfriend revealed that Combs and Sherman had shown it to a group of men years earlier.

The lawsuit alleges both men later threatened Graves to maintain her silence, including threats regarding custody of her son. The complaint details ongoing trauma, stating Graves "lives in constant fear" and struggles with anxiety and panic attacks.

Sherman has denied the allegations, claiming he wasn't employed by Combs at the time of the alleged assault. This lawsuit follows Combs' recent federal indictment on charges including sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
