Live Nation and SJM have announced plans to invalidate over 50,000 Oasis UK concert tickets that were illegally resold on secondary ticketing platforms. This affects approximately 4% of the total 1.4 million tickets originally released for the Oasis Live '25 reunion tour.

Tickets purchased through unauthorized resale sites will be canceled in the coming days. Only tickets bought through official channels (Ticketmaster) or their authorized resale partner Twickets will remain valid.

The invalidation comes after tickets appeared on secondary markets within hours of the initial sale, often marked up thousands above face value. Despite the original tickets using dynamic pricing with face values between £150-£350, unauthorized resellers continued to inflate prices further.

Secondary ticketing platform Viagogo, which claims to hold 2% of available tickets, has stated they will continue offering resales despite the invalidation warning. Live Nation urges fans to avoid unauthorized websites, warning that tickets may be fraudulent or subject to cancellation.

For context, the 4% resale rate for this tour is significantly lower than other major tours, which can see up to 20% of tickets appear on unauthorized secondary platforms.
