Lady Gaga has announced her seventh studio album "Mayhem," set to release March 7 via Interscope Records. The album features 14 tracks, including previously released singles "Disease" and "Die With a Smile," with executive production by Gaga, Michael Polansky, and Andrew Watt.
The album represents a reimagining of Gaga's early pop sound rather than a simple return to her roots. "The album started as me facing my fear of returning to the pop music my earliest fans loved," Gaga explains, describing the creative process as "reassembling a shattered mirror." The project explores themes of chaos and transformation while celebrating music's unifying power.
Key upcoming events:
- February 2: Third single and music video debut during 2025 Grammy Awards
- January 30: Performance at FireAid benefit concert alongside Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Stevie Nicks, and Joni Mitchell
- March 17: Receipt of 2025 iHeartRadio Innovator Award
- April: Headlining performance at Coachella
The album's complete tracklist will be announced at a later date. Fans can access exclusive merchandise through Gaga's newly relaunched website, which features the first of several planned merchandise releases for the project.
