Kevin Liles Welcomes Young Thug's Freedom Following RICO Case Verdict
Kevin Liles, CEO of 300 Entertainment, has expressed joy and relief following Young Thug's release from prison after a two-year custody period. The Atlanta rapper, whose real name is Jeffery Williams, faced charges related to Georgia's RICO law alongside multiple others in May 2022.

"Words can't express the incredible happiness and relief I feel to learn of Jeffery's freedom," Liles stated, emphasizing that "artists aren't fictional characters. They're human beings first."
Young Thug opted for a non-negotiated guilty plea rather than accepting an earlier plea deal. The court sentenced him to 15 years probation with no additional prison time. As part of his sentencing, Williams:
- Must conduct anti-gang and anti-violence presentations
- Cannot visit the Atlanta metro area except under special circumstances
- Must take full responsibility for his actions
During the trial, Williams acknowledged his community influence, stating, "I know what I bring to the table and I know what I am. I know the heights I've reached and I know the impact I've got on people in the community."
The case, which began in November 2023, involved allegations against Williams and YSL Records members for various crimes, including murders, drug dealings, and carjackings.
