Kendrick Lamar's Super Bowl LVIII Halftime Show has made history as the most-watched halftime performance ever, surpassing Michael Jackson's 1993 record. The show attracted an impressive 133.5 million viewers, exceeding the main game's average viewership of 127.7 million.

Viewership peaked during the second quarter between 8:00-8:15 PM ET, with 135.7 million viewers tuning in specifically for the halftime show. The performance featured special guests Samuel L. Jackson, DJ Mustard, SZA, and Serena Williams during the nearly 13-minute set.
The overall Super Bowl broadcast set new records across multiple platforms:
- 2% increase from last year's total viewership
- Record-breaking streaming numbers with 13.6 million viewers on Tubi
- Nearly 1 million additional viewers through NFL+ and other NFL platforms
- Combined viewership across Fox, Fox Deportes, Tubi, Telemundo, and NFL digital properties
The show generated additional interest due to Lamar's performance of his Grammy-winning Drake diss track "Not Like Us," which recently made history by winning all five Grammy categories for which it was nominated.
This record-breaking viewership demonstrates the continued growth of the Super Bowl as a cultural phenomenon, with the halftime show increasingly becoming as much of a draw as the game itself.
