The tour announcement comes amid increased popularity for both artists, with Lamar's Spotify monthly listeners jumping from 82 million to over 86 million following the Super Bowl performance. This European expansion follows the North American leg of the tour, which begins April 19th in Minneapolis.
The timing aligns with similar post-Super Bowl tour expansions from other performers, including Usher's Past, Present, Future Tour, which has already sold out 62 North American shows. Additionally, Beyoncé has announced five new stadium shows for her Cowboy Carter Tour in London, Chicago, Atlanta, and Paris.
Apple has also capitalized on Lamar's increased visibility by launching a Kendrick Lamar Synth Riders "experience" for the Vision Pro, further extending the artist's reach across multiple platforms.
