Justin Bieber is currently signed to Def Jam Recordings, a division of Universal Music Group. He first signed with the label in 2008 when he was discovered by Scooter Braun and Usher Raymond IV, who helped secure his initial record deal.

The Canadian pop star's journey with Def Jam began when he was just 14 years old, making him one of the youngest artists to sign with the prestigious label. His contract was initially part of a joint venture between Def Jam and Raymond-Braun Media Group (RBMG), established by Usher and Scooter Braun.

Throughout his career, Bieber has remained loyal to Def Jam Recordings, releasing all his major studio albums through the label:

• My World 2.0 (2010)
• Under the Mistletoe (2011)
• Believe (2012)
• Purpose (2015)
• Changes (2020)
• Justice (2021)

While Def Jam handles his music distribution and promotion, Bieber's management has been overseen by SB Projects, Scooter Braun's management company, for most of his career. However, in 2023, Bieber parted ways with Braun but maintained his relationship with Def Jam Recordings.

Def Jam Recordings, founded in 1984, has been instrumental in shaping Bieber's career, providing him with the platform and resources needed to become one of the world's most successful recording artists. The label has supported his evolution from a teen pop sensation to a mature artist, consistently backing his musical experimentation and growth.

The partnership between Justin Bieber and Def Jam Recordings continues to be strong, with the label supporting his ongoing musical endeavors and worldwide tours. This long-standing relationship has proven beneficial for both parties, resulting in numerous chart-topping hits and record-breaking achievements in the music industry.
