Eventix Partners With Spotify to Offer Concert Ticket Sales Through Streaming Platform
Eventix has announced a new integration partnership with Spotify, allowing event organizers to promote and sell tickets directly through the streaming platform. This integration enables ticket sales across multiple channels on Spotify, with purchases linking directly to Eventix-powered ticket shops.

The partnership comes at a challenging time for the festival sector, with over 170 events canceled in 2024 and signs of slowing sales for early 2025. While major festivals like Paaspop (starting April 18th) and Draaimolen (September) are utilizing the integration, implementation varies across different artist pages.
Eventix CEO Joost Aanen emphasizes the strategic importance of meeting music fans where they already are: "This partnership is about promoting your events where the fans are, and there's no better place for that than Spotify, where people are listening every day."
The integration builds upon Spotify's existing event discovery features, including:
- The Live Events Feed (launched June 2022)
- Partnerships with major ticketing platforms like Ticketmaster, See Tickets, and AXS
- Recent integration with Bandsintown, which generated over 230 million ticket-buying clicks in 2024

Spotify will receive a commission on ticket sales through the platform, while event organizers maintain control over their participation in the program. This move represents another step in Spotify's broader strategy to diversify its service offerings and strengthen connections between artists and fans.
