The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has launched raids across five major Indian cities - Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Chandigarh, and Bangalore - investigating illegal ticket sales for Coldplay's Music of the Spheres tour and Diljit Dosanjh's Dilluminati concert.

The investigation began after BookMyShow and Zomato Live's official ticket sales sold out within minutes, leading to widespread black market resales on social media platforms at inflated prices.

During the October 25 raids, the ED seized electronic devices including mobile phones, laptops, and SIM cards containing evidence of fraudulent ticket sales. The investigation has expanded to include potential money laundering, focusing on tracking illegal profits and dismantling associated financial networks.

Key Details:

  • Concert Dates: January 18, 19, and 21, 2025, in Mumbai
  • Official Vendors: BookMyShow and Zomato Live
  • Areas Raided: Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Chandigarh, and Bangalore
  • Items Seized: Mobile phones, laptops, SIM cards

The ED continues to monitor both online and offline networks involved in ticket fraud, advising fans to purchase tickets only through official channels to avoid exploitation and financial loss. BookMyShow has filed multiple complaints regarding the unauthorized resale of tickets, prompting increased scrutiny of the black market operations.
