
Downtown Music Publishing Renews Publishing Deal with Iconic Artist Tori Amos
Downtown Music Publishing has renewed its partnership with acclaimed singer-songwriter Tori Amos, continuing to represent her complete catalog of work. The renewal extends their initial 2018 agreement.

Since her 1992 debut album "Little Earthquakes," Amos has established herself as a pivotal figure in alternative music. The classically trained pianist is renowned for her poetic lyrics and hits including "Crucify," "Cornflake Girl," and "A Sorta Fairytale."
Artist Manager John Witherspoon emphasized, "For more than three decades, Tori has pushed creative boundaries and built a legacy of artistry and integrity. Downtown has been a dedicated partner in honoring and amplifying that legacy."
Downtown Music Publishing has also extended agreements with several other notable artists and catalogs:
- George Gershwin, DuBose and Dorothy Heyward (co-writers of "Porgy and Bess")
- Remi Kabaka (Afro-rock drummer known for work with Paul Simon, Hugh Masekela, and Gorillaz)
- Tim Kellett (The Durutti Column, Simply Red, co-writer of "You're Not Alone")
- Les Claypool (Primus bassist and songwriter)
- Geoff Wilkinson (Us3 founder, producer of "Cantaloop (Flip Fantasia)")
- Brett Dennen (acclaimed US songwriter)
