Delta Adds Free YouTube Premium and Music to New 4K Inflight Screens

Delta Airlines is enhancing its inflight entertainment with 4K screens featuring YouTube Premium and YouTube Music integration, set to debut in 2026. The new QLED HDR displays will offer ad-free content to SkyMiles customers, with implementation beginning "this year."

The airline announced additional technological advances at CES 2025, including:

  • AI-powered "Delta Concierge" feature in their app
  • Uber partnership for earning SkyMiles
  • Plans for fuel-efficient aircraft development with Airbus

During Delta's 100th anniversary celebration at CES, CEO Ed Bastian emphasized the company's people-first approach to innovation: "New marvels like AI, the digital revolution and sustainable technology are giving us incredible tools to transform the travel experience, but amid the wonder of new technology, we've always understood that the entire point of innovation is to lift people up."

The presentation included a virtual pilot training demonstration and featured a performance by Lenny Kravitz, showcasing Delta's commitment to combining technology with exceptional customer experience.

Chief Marketing Officer Alicia Tillman noted: "Delta's appearance at CES is a testament to the strength of our brand and the exciting future ahead. This was an opportunity for attendees to experience who we are in a new and unforgettable way."
