Childish Gambino Lives On: Donald Glover Confirms New Music Coming Soon
Donald Glover has confirmed he's working on new music and may return as Childish Gambino, despite previous announcements about retiring the moniker. During a Golden Globes interview with Laverne Cox, Glover revealed he's actively recording in the studio and collaborating with "secret people" on various projects.

This news comes after Glover's 2017 announcement that he would retire the Childish Gambino name following his "Awaken, My Love!" album. However, when Cox asked about using the Childish Gambino name for future releases, Glover responded positively, suggesting fans "don't have to worry about that."
Beyond music, Glover is set to reunite with the Community cast for an upcoming movie shooting in June. Series creator Dan Harmon confirmed Glover's essential involvement, stating he "wouldn't want to think about making [the movie] without Donald."
The multi-talented artist has already shown signs of musical activity, including a recent "Redbone" duet performance with Billie Eilish. While specific release dates haven't been announced, fans can expect new Childish Gambino music and the Community movie in the near future.
