The Tim Bergling Foundation, established after Avicii's passing in 2018, focuses on mental health support and suicide prevention. In 2022, Pophouse Entertainment acquired a majority stake in Avicii's music catalog, ensuring his artistic legacy continues for at least 50 years while supporting the foundation's mission.
The foundation, operated by a dedicated team in Stockholm, recently raised over $700,000 through an auction of 267 personal items belonging to Avicii. These funds directly support mental health resources for young individuals.
Upcoming projects include two Netflix documentaries: "Avicii – I'm Tim," narrated by the artist himself, premiering December 31, 2024, and "Avicii – My Last Show," featuring his final performance. Additionally, Pophouse Entertainment is developing an Avicii musical to celebrate his contributions to electronic dance music.
Klas Bergling's ongoing dedication ensures that Avicii's impact on music and mental health awareness continues to resonate with future generations, serving as a powerful reminder of his son's lasting influence on the world.
