Apple Teams Up with China Mobile to Bring Apple Music to Over 1 Billion Users
Apple has partnered with China Mobile to offer Apple Music access to over one billion subscribers in Mainland China. Users can activate the service through the China Mobile app or at retail stores, with three subscription tiers available:
- Student Plan: 6 yuan
- Individual Plan: 11 yuan
- Family Plan: 17 yuan

This partnership may expand further, as recent reports indicate discussions about bringing Apple TV+ to China Mobile's subscriber base.
Apple's Strategic Partnerships in China:
- 2018: Partnered with Douyin (China's TikTok) to boost subscribers
- Douyin users with Apple Music subscriptions can access their full music library within the app
- New users receive a three-month trial
- Douyin became the first Chinese short-form video app in Apple Music's partnership program
