Apple Music and Amazon Music are launching their Christmas offerings early this year, featuring both new interpretations and classic favorites.

Apple Music's 2024 Carols Covered Collection presents fresh renditions of holiday favorites by contemporary artists, all available in spatial audio. Notable performances include Rachel Platten's "Jingle Bell Rock," Lizzy McAlpine's "Celebrate Me Home," and Tones and I's "Hallelujah."

The platform also introduces a Classical Carols Covered playlist featuring exclusive performances by renowned classical artists:

• Daniil Trifonov - "Man of the House"
• Hayato Sumino - "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year"
• SANSARA - "Peace on Earth"

Amazon Music partners with Mariah Carey, celebrating the 30th anniversary of "All I Want For Christmas Is You" with exclusive holiday decor and tour merchandise. The collaboration coincides with Carey's Christmas Time tour, beginning November 6 in Highland, CA.

Both streaming services offer unique holiday music experiences: Apple Music focuses on fresh interpretations and classical arrangements, while Amazon Music celebrates a modern Christmas classic with Mariah Carey.
