A$AP Rocky Declines Plea Deal, Heads to Trial in Firearm Assault Case
A$AP Rocky has rejected a plea deal in his ongoing firearm assault case involving former friend A$AP Relli, choosing to proceed to trial. The plea deal offered included three years' probation, a seven-year suspended prison sentence, and 180 days in county jail in exchange for pleading guilty to assault with a semiautomatic firearm.

The case stems from a November 6, 2021 incident where Terell Ephron (A$AP Relli) claims Rocky fired a gun at him, with bullets grazing his knuckles. Rocky currently faces two felony counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm.
Defense attorney Joe Tacopina revealed they have two witnesses prepared to testify that the gun seen in security footage was merely a prop carried for security purposes. Tacopina expressed confidence in Rocky's acquittal, stating the rapper is willing to testify if necessary.
The trial's outcome could potentially impact Rocky's professional commitments, including his role as a Met Gala celebrity chair and his participation in an upcoming Spike Lee film featuring Denzel Washington.
