YouTube is partnering with Creative Artists Agency (CAA) to develop AI deepfake detection and removal tools, giving talent more control over their digital likeness.

The collaboration will provide CAA talent with early access to technology that identifies and manages AI-generated content featuring their likeness. These tools will help detect synthetic media and streamline the removal request process through YouTube's privacy complaint system.

Initial testing will begin in early 2024, focusing on CAA's roster of actors and professional athletes from the NBA and NFL. The talent will provide crucial feedback to help refine YouTube's AI detection systems and creator controls.
