In a video shared on Kanye West's Instagram Story, Ty scrolls through Apple Music's top shelf recommendations, pointing out that 'Vultures 1' is absent from both "New Music" and "Best New Songs" sections, only appearing in the Top Songs chart. This comes despite the album's #1 position on the Billboard 200 chart for two consecutive weeks.

The album's release has been marked by several controversies:

  • Initial distribution difficulties led to its temporary removal from Apple Music
  • Unauthorized sample usage resulted in a lawsuit from Donna Summer's estate over "Good (Don't Die)"
  • Both Nicki Minaj and Ozzy Osbourne denied permission for sample usage
  • Ozzy specifically protested the use of an "Iron Man" sample during a listening party

The distributor FUGA stated they initially declined to release the album. When it was later uploaded through automated processes, it violated their service agreement, leading to its temporary removal before reinstatement.

These promotional challenges follow Kanye West's controversial 2022 antisemitic statements, which resulted in the termination of his Adidas partnership and brought to light allegations of workplace harassment.
