Travis Scott was arrested in Paris early Friday morning after an altercation with a security guard outside the George V hotel. Paris prosecutors confirmed the incident occurred when the security guard attempted to intervene between Scott and his bodyguard.

Scott's representative, Melissa Nathan, stated they are working with Parisian authorities to resolve the matter and will provide updates when available.

TMZ released footage showing police removing Scott from the hotel premises and placing him in a police vehicle. He was later transferred to an ambulance and taken to a hospital. Reports indicate several vases were broken inside the hotel during the incident.

The altercation allegedly started when paparazzi were pursuing Scott through Paris. The rapper became agitated and reacted violently in the hotel lobby, prompting staff to contact authorities. While Scott remains in custody, no charges have been filed.

Prior to the arrest, Scott attended the Olympics USA vs. Serbia men's basketball semifinal. Earlier that day, he had unsuccessfully sought police assistance to manage crowds of fans and paparazzi following him.

This incident follows a recent case where Scott had a disorderly intoxication charge dropped from a June yacht incident. He still faces a misdemeanor trespassing charge in Florida, with a trial scheduled for September 10.
