Times Music has acquired two prominent Indian record labels - ARC Musicq and Symphony Recording Co. - marking their first acquisitions since partnering with Primary Wave Music in 2023.

Symphony Recording Co., established in 1983, is South India's leading Tamil spiritual and devotional music label. Their catalog includes:

  • Collaborations with legendary artists like Dr. Balamurali Krishna
  • Nearly 2 billion YouTube views across 6 channels
  • Doubled YouTube revenue in past 4 years

ARC Musicq, founded in 1985, specializes in Kannada music and has been distributed by Times Music since 2017. Key highlights:

  • Produces 75% of A-grade movie soundtracks
  • Focuses on film, devotional, and folk music
  • 2+ billion YouTube views across 4 channels
  • Quadrupled YouTube revenue in past 3 years

These acquisitions strengthen Times Music's position in:

  • Tamil spiritual market
  • Kannada music market
  • Overall devotional music segment, which has seen 230% growth in streaming investment
